Hola Polloistos,
We had a great time in Japan! If you didn't keep up with the tour as
it happened, you can read our blog, and check out some photos at:
http://pdmjapan2005.blogspot.com/

Looking for a gift for someone special? Check out the new ladies'
"Husband Beater" top with the Shag designed Pollo logo (we have also
have the men's T available.) http://www.pollodelmar.com/mart

Here is a little something to stuff your stocking- download our
version of "Carol of the Bells" free at:

Don't miss next week's show at the Hotel Utah (details below). A rare
appearance by Meshugga Beach Party, Pollo will probably go on second
so that the Pyronauts can blow it out with drummer Pan Man who is
moving to Montana soon (gonna be a dental floss tycoon?) Doors at 2,
music at 3, see you there.

Finally, 2004 was a great year for us- 3 tours, the visit by the Surf
Coasters, the second Battle of the Bands, and so many fun shows. We
are working on a CD from the best live recordings of 2005 to be
called "Year of the Rooster". With a little luck it will be done by
March.

We wish you great holidays and a great New Year!,
Thanks for all your support!
Ferenc, Jono, Jeff and Jeremy (aka PDM)

The Sunday Surf Party returns to the Hotel Utah in San Francisco on
December 18th with a Holiday Surftacular! Three bands playing surfin'
holiday songs that will jingle your bells. So come all you faithful
(and unfaithful too) for an afternoon mid-winter beach party!
Leading off the show, and rockin' around the Hanukkah Bush, will be
Meshugga Beach Party. MBP has just released their new CD, "Twenty
Songs of the Chosen Surfers" on the Jewish Music Group label. For
this show they will be featuring Hanukkah classics like "Driedel,
Driedel, Driedel" and "The Hanukkah Song" all done in dripping reverb
style to get the maydeles and boychicks dancing.

The Pyronauts, from wintry Auburn California, have released an album
full of seasonal songs called "A Surfin' Christmas", so you know you
are going to get classics like "Let it Snow", "White Christmas" and
"Silent Night" all coming at you like a big swell coming in from the
North. This will also be The Pyronauts last show with beloved drummer
Pan Man as he has decided to move on to the great white north.

San Francisco's own Pollo Del Mar will pull out their well seasoned
chestnuts, "Carol of the Swells" and "The Saracen Gift (aka Little
Drummer Boy)". Pollo Del Mar has just returned from a tour of Japan,
and brought with them a frosty attitude that can only be melted by a
non-denominational celebration of consumption.

Also, be on the lookout for an appearance by the Surfin Santa, spread
holiday cheer and cheap trinkets!
