Hi Pollo Fans,
I would guess that most of you have heard that DJ Phil Dirt retired
from KFJC two weeks ago after 25 years. Phil has been a huge force in
promoting surf music in every way- his weekly radio show, producer of
over 300 live recordings, his reverbcentral.com site, the list goes on.
On October 22 at The Brookdale Lodge, the surf community gives a little
something back, with a concert featuring performers coming from around
California to pay tribute. This is going to be a fantastic night of
music.

On Friday, October 28 we will be at COPIA in Napa Valley for Will the
Thrill's Halloween Fiesta featuring the gothic lucha libra film
classic SANTO VS. THE VAMPIRE WOMEN (1962), with special celebrity
guest, Napa's own homegrown horror legend JOHN STANLEY ("Creature
Features"), co-hosts Doktor Goulfinger and Mr. Lobo. "Golden State"
cover girl Monica the tiki goddess will be there is you want your CD
signed.
