Hi Pollo Fans,
2 shows this upcoming weekend in San Francisco:
On Satuday, September 24 at the Cafe DuNord in San
Francisco. We perform in benefit for KFJC and their
annual Penny Pitch fundraiser. This is an afternoon
show  12 - 5PM, we go on at 2pm. The show will also be
broadcast live on KFCJ 89.7, and webcast at
www.kfjc.org

The next day, Sunday, September 25, we'll be back for
Surfin' Sunday at The Hotel Utah with Fresno's finest
fezheads The Neptunes and a great young band from
Seattle called The 'Verb. Again, another afternoon
show and BBQ. The Utah allows kids under 18 if the
bring their parents. Doors at 2, music at 3.

Jeremy is out of town this weekend, so filling in for
him will be former Pollo drummer Chris Thomas. We
welcome Chris back to the throne!

This Saturday night will be KFJC DJ Phil Dirt's last
show. Phil has been on the air spinning surf for 25
years, and has done so much for instrumental surf
music through his reverbcentral,com website,
presenting more than 300 surf bands live on the radio
at KFJC, and helping to promote local shows and
international bands (like The Surf Coasters.) In fact,
Phil has done so much, we think someone should through
him a party. So mark your calendars now, hire the
babysitter, book a flight... On October 22 at the
Brookdale Lodge, something big is going to happen.
Details are few at this point, but it looks like the
show will be a huge event with surf bands and legends
coming from around the country. Really! Watch the
