[Pollodelmar] KFOG, Slacktone, local shows and a SoCal Tour

Hi Pollo fans,
An exciting 10 days coming up... Thursday morning,
listen to Dave Morey's show on KFOG when he will
announce this year's KFOG Local Scene CD. Pollo has a
track on it! 
  Friday we are doing a happy hour show at the
Speakeasy Brewery in S.F. It's free, they have great
BBQ and beer, and it will be an all ages show- we
start at 5:30 and play 2 sets. On Saturday night we
are back at the Park Chalet on Ocean Beach. Again,
it's a free show, we play 3 sets, music starts at
8:30. 
  Sunday is the return of the Sunday Surf Party to the
Hotel Utah with 
(drum roll please)- You know them, you love them, you
have named your children after them, yes, Slacktone
headlines. Dave, Dusty and Sam return for their first
and only Bay Area show in more than a year. Don't miss
 them, and why not bring a friend so that they can
have the same life changing moment that you had when
you first saw Slacktone. Remember the great Space
Cossacks? Lead guitaritst Ivan Pongracic has formed a
new band called The Madeira, and this is the last show
of their California tour. The Madeira's sound is
non-stop hard hitting reverb, and focuses on the
Spanish/Arabic scales first melded into surf music by
Dick Dale. Not to be missed!
Next Wednesday, Pollo heads south for shows in Los
Angeles, Las Vegas, San Diego, El Segundo and
Huntington Beach. Hope to see you there!
